Miller's response? He suggested that Paramount+ should "reconcile with @WilliamShatner and give him total creative control."

Instead of directly addressing the controversy, the 94-year-old actor cleverly poked fun at the premise, focusing on the fact that Holly Hunter's character wears glasses. He quipped, "The fact that they have not cure Hyperopia by the 32rd Century is an abysmal oversight on the writers!" He then jokingly suggested that Paramount+ needed to increase the budget.
